Our developements didn't stop during the summer. We are creating new modules and components, which will be released in the near future. Of course we are expanding our existing module's functions, to give a higher user-experience.
After two months of releasing Universal AJAX Live Search for Joomla 1.5, I decided to make it for Joomla! 1.6 and Joomla! 1.7 too.
During the developement, I took into consideration the feature requests, what I received from our Customers, who already use this module in their shops under Joomla! 1.5. Of course the reported bugs were also corrected.
Let's see the new features in the version 2.0.0
- Full keyboard and mousewheel support
- You can easily move between the products with the mousewheel, and with the keyboard arrows.
- Intro text
- With this new option you can show a little lead-in from your search result's content, under the result titles. It can be a few words from an article or product description.
- Section selector
- From now, you can switch on/off search plugins in your module backend panel, so you shouldn't switch off plugins globally.
- Section rename
- In Joomla! 1.6 & 1.7 you can give own names for search sections(plugins) in your module backend panel, in Joomla! 1.5 you can do it globally.
(For using the last two options in webshops you should install our improved search plugins)
