New Smart Slider version released

Two weeks ago when we released the Smart Slider we know that there will be some updates in the Smart Slider soon. And here it is. We added a lot of features what you requested and fixed some bugs after your reports.

Added features

Universal font selector

Our universal font selector use Google fonts directory. It gives you the power to find a fonts for your sliders easily. This tool enables you to change the color, shadow, style, size of the text and the best: you will see a live preview of the style.

Publish date for slides

Now you can set publish up and publish down dates for each slide, which helps you to manage promotions more easily.

Photo slider type

Daniel made a beautiful slider design, which didn't get released in the first version of the Smart Slider, but it is worth the wait. We made two different slider type from the design, one has pretty simple animation, but the others are very unique. I suggest you to check both with your own eyes: Photo theme and Experimental Photo theme

Notes if you already have installed Smart Slider on your site

Please don't uninstall the previous version of the Smart Slider. Just install the package via the Joomla installer and it will do the upgrade. After the upgrade done, you have to navigate to the edit panel of the sliders and press a "Save" button on each (You don't have to do this on slides, only on sliders). This will set the fonts for your sliders.
