Universal Ajax Live Search is one of our most wanted products. After a brainstorming a new, cool feature was added, some major and minor bugs were fixed.

Since the Virtuemart crew changed a lot of code in the latest version of Virtuemart 2 the old Search plugin (wich included the product images) has stopped working. Today We are releasing a new, working versions of these plugins.

For a customer request I have created a search plugin for Ixxo Cart store component. As allways, this plugin helps Universal AJAX Live Search to show the product images.

Janos pointed out, that I should develop a plugin, wich allows you to search through google's search engine. The google custom search Api provides a great interface for developing such things! How would you like the power of google on your website?

Some of you were curious, if the Universal AJAX Live Search would work with Phoca Gallery. Well, it is working, but the images of the gallery aren't shown on the search results pop-up window. So I have decided to put some thoughts into that, and modified the original Phoca Gallery search plugin.

After the redShop and VirtueMart search plugin I have created the improved Tienda search plugin for you. With this small plugin Universal AJAX Live Search can show the product images in the search results.

Nowadays I'm working on the Universal AJAX Live Search and as I wrote my previous entry I would like to share my PSD files. In this chapter you can download the concept of the new AJAX Search.

After your valuable feedbacks, I have collected your bug reports and feature requests, and in the new 2.2.0 version I have corrected/added them.

RedShop has released a category serach module, which can search search in product categories. I have modified it a little. With this plugin Universal AJAX Live Search can show category images.

Our developements didn't stop during the summer. We are creating new modules and components, which will be released in the near future. Of course we are expanding our existing module's functions, to give a higher user-experience.

During the developement of Universal AJAX Live Search we tried to produce an extension, which has a wide range of usability and it isn't limited for a single webshop-engine.

The default Virtuemart plugin for Joomla contains a serious bug. The bug is usually come out if you use different Itemids for different categories or product.
