We would like to share some very exciting news today, because we released a new version of your favourite login & register extension with a very useful and cool feature.

Login & Register - Add upload field

With our latest improvement, it is possible to add an Avatar and File upload fields to the registration form, which requested by many of you. We created two separate type for the upload fields:

Avatar field

The Avatar image field allows users and customers to upload an avatar image for their user profile. The Avatar field has been added to the Profile fields tab in the Form Manager. All image file types are accepted to this field.

File field

This is a customizable upload field for documents, audios, videos and additional file types. In the Mime type attribute, it is possible to select the allowed file types from a list or even you can add custom file extensions. You can add more of these file fields to the registration form, but in this case you should change the name attributes, to be different.

Login & Register - file upload fields

The new fields have a common attribute. It is a possibility to add a specific max file size value in MB, which is checked on client and server-side also and gives error message if the size is too big.

Let's update your extension and try these fields in your website! :)
