Introduction

A recent question in the support tickets is how to modify/manipulate the results of the Universal Ajax Live Search. From time to time we need to tell you, that the Live Search use the search plugins to show the result list. That means the results only depends on the search plugins, not the Live Search. This is important, because this extension can't be responsible for filtering the results.

But will this compatible?

As you can read above, the results come from the search plugins. This also means, that if your 3rd party component has a search plugin, it will be compatible with Live Search. We also have improved search plugins, what also will show images, next to the result list, as you can see on the demo site of this extension.
